If you're looking for something to do, our wonderful local community has plenty to offer. With plenty of attractions here year-round, there's never a reason to be bored in South Bend! From the arts to the farmers market, here are a few local attractions our real estate agents recommend checking out.

  • Morris Performing Arts Center - 211 North Michigan Street, South Bend
    First built in 1922 as the Palace Theatre, a vaudeville house and occasionally a stage for traveling Broadway performances, the Morris Performing Arts Center is an important part of South Bend history. If it's been a while since you've seen live entertainment, now is the time to remedy that! Check out the upcoming events at the Morris Center, and no matter what your interests, there's bound to be something there for you. From the theater and the symphony to comedy shows and rock concerts, the Morris Center has it all!

  • Snite Museum of Art - 100 Moose Krause Drive, Notre Dame
    Have an eye for art? If so, you'll love the Snite Museum of Art, located on the Notre Dame campus. View 100 years of Irish art, learn about race issues through the eyes are art, attend special events, and browse thousands of items in the regular collection. Construction of a large new building is underway in Notre Dame's arts district, but in the meantime, the Snite Museum is still open to the public at their existing location.

  • Basilica of the Sacred Heart - 101 Basilica Drive, Notre Dame
    Whether you wish to pray, attend mass, or just visit a famous religious destination, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart is worth visiting. Renowned for its beauty, the Basilica and the museum are open to the public except for during masses, weddings, funerals, and other events. Schedule a guided tour or download a brochure to walk you through your own tour.

  • Studebaker Museum - 201 Chapin Street, South Bend
    South Bend is also home to one of the most unique museums: the Studebaker Museum. Originally a blacksmith company and a manufacturer of horse-drawn vehicles, Studebaker became a well-known car manufacturer in the 20th century. The museum chronicles the company's history, in addition to hosting other special exhibitions, such as the current exhibition "Charged: The Rise, Fall, and Resurgence of Electric Vehicles."

  • South Bend Farmers Market - 1105 Northside Boulevard, South Bend
    Looking for a good place to do your grocery shopping, a great place to eat lunch, or just a fun afternoon with your family? The answer to all of these is, of course, the South Bend Farmers Market. In operation since 1911, the farmers market has become a fixture in the community, near many South Bend homes for sale. Do your shopping, entertain the kids, and enjoy the experience of "buying local." The South Bend Farmers Market is open from 7 am until 3 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays year-round, and from May until October, on Fridays as well.

  • Potawatomi Zoo - 500 South Greenlawn Avenue, South Bend
    Feeling like a visit to the wild side? Spend a day visiting the animals at the Potawatomi Zoo. Visit the lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!), schedule an animal encounter and keep your eyes peeled for special events. The zoo is open regular hours from April 1st until October 31st, with limited "Winter Days" during the colder months.
