- Studebaker Museum - 201 Chapin Street, South Bend
South Bend is also home to one of the most unique museums: the Studebaker Museum. Originally a blacksmith company and a manufacturer of horse-drawn vehicles, Studebaker became a well-known car manufacturer in the 20th century. The museum chronicles the company's history, in addition to hosting other special exhibitions, such as the current exhibition "Charged: The Rise, Fall, and Resurgence of Electric Vehicles."

In operation since 1911, the farmers market has become a fixture in the community, near many South Bend homes for sale. The South Bend Farmers Market is open from 7 am until 3 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays year-round, and from May until October, on Fridays as well.
